November 15th, 2018. The mission of the first flight of Polaris, the PLM-1 mission, was tosend the Vitosat1B communications satellite in polar orbit. You can use the autopilot, or control it manually. The autopilot will send you at an orbit of about 120X1500 km, and it will shutdown. After the launch, your mission is to circularize the orbit at about 1500X1500 km using the orbital engines, jettison the satellite and then de-orbit the second stage, for a clean space. Good fligt! Please read the documentation before.
Four months after the first flight of the canadian rocket, the CSA scientific team designed a small scientific probe to cartograph the moon and find landing sites for a manned mission. The third flight of Polaris, named PLM-3 (Polaris launch mission 3) will carry to the moon this probe at an orbit of 50X50 km. Good luck mission controller! Please read the documentation before.
J'aurais besoin d'un gentil volontaire pour tester le produit final, car quand ça fait un an que tu bosses sur quelque chose on finit par ne plus apercevoir certains détails...
