Are you running in 16 bits by any chance ?
That's a "Z" effect that may happen in 16 bit.

I get both of the bugs mentioned above, if anyone asks.

And Dan, the Mars skin for Prelude II is fantastic! Looks great. :)

No, it's gone  on may 12 ;)

About the visual bug: when I use 16bits, the "black effect" is... well... ça fait des zèbrures noir/orange, plutôt que des
polygones noirs. Do you understand, or do you wish a printscreen?

Nope. It's May 5, 2007. I have it in bother Orbiter installs. Clean Orbiter and my normal Orbiter. It's definately Beta 10
because I see the same thing in the heat sheild that Pagir reported.

Haha, yes I have both 'bugs' although one is solved without doing anything. 2 hours and a bug will be automatically
cleared... cool! lol. With the 16/32bit stuff, I see problems with MFDs and HUDs and other stuff depending on both
your computer bit and Orbiter bit. I think I usually have to have them opposite to work. 32bit on computer and 16bit
in Orbiter is what I use. It solves VC problems, but obviously not this. 96MB Intel 82865G Graphics Controller.

Yes "heat" mesh is some centimeter bigger only, something that your "Z" buffer graphic card don't seem to accept.
I'll make it a bit bigger and post "patch" to test (if I make it too big it would look strange, so test will be made to
make it smaller possible ANd that it work everywhere)

Pas un bug mais un petit défaut sur Prélude, deux en fait.
The sound level is to low when i compare to the external view.
Very trop différent in fact and I'm obliged to move the cursor of my enceintes.
Sinon, c'est très chouette ... l'atmosphère sonore est sympa.
Et le MMU peux s'enliser sur le pad quand on le fait bricoler sur la surface.
Ce ne sont que des détails ;)

Gents,

I agree. I am viewing the DGIV the day prior to its release date, so Dan, you are correct. I will test this after midnight
EST here in the US (5 or so minutes from now).

Dan...I too am seeing the heat shield effect with rendering issues. I tried in both 16 and 32 bit color, but I am only
running a 128MB PCI graphics card. I wonder if this somehow ties into the same bug that impacts Saturn where part of it
disappears depending on your distance?

Otherwise, keep the heat shield effect. I can live with the rendering. It is otherwise very cool.

DELTAGLIDERIV BUG

Short description:

WINDOWS FILTER NOT TIED TO A BUS

Severity

minor

Complete  description
If you choose any scenario and cut off all power, APU, and busses, you can still click the Windows Filter to medium, high, or
off and it will still work. It should not do that. It should either change back to clear, or stay at the filter level it was
at when the power died.

Reproduce bug
Just choose any of the scenarios and cut off all power. Ensure you don't put the vessel into safe mode, but cut off all the
busses. You will see the window filter will still work.

Miscallenous

Heat Shield replacement A had some slight funkiness, but B, C and D were fine.

EDIT:

When I was flying in the atmosphere, I deliberately caused G-LOC. My captain (the only person aboard) passed out, but I could still control the craft.

:wonder:
