Bug with:  UMMU 1.5 PATCH UTILITY TEST

Short Description: After patching the modules folder I am also getting a direct CTD after starting the Scenario with the
XR2 called "Ready for take off to ISS".  When going back to the backed up modules folder I get no crash.  Reinstalling
patch and I get a CTD after initiation of the scenario with the XR2.   I then tried the XR5 with scenario "Ready for take
off to ISS" and it loads, but the exterior mesh and 2d panels in the XR5 are missiing.  Meaning when I goto exterior
view of only the XR5 I see no mesh as if the spaceship is invisible.   Going back to the backup modules folder
everything is fine.  Again, the XR2 CTD and the XR5 loades the scenario but there is no exterior mesh visible.

Looks like the patching is removing quite a chunk of stuff.

40Mb for a dll !!!??? 8o

Don't search more, I allocated 6mb and I was certain to still have a good margin.
I'll allocate 100mb

New version soon

Here is the "bad install tester back"...
I reproduced Buzz's bug, installed XR2 and tested without patch, everything was working.
After patching got a direct CTD, restored old Xr2 dll and everything worked again.
I do confirm the same figures for dll size, 35MB original, about 5MB patched.

One quick thing: once you've ejected from a DGIV, for realism's sake could you please let a UMMU get back in?  Just because
if you bail out of/eject from a plane in real life, and it is not destroyed, you would be able to get back in and resume
flying it.

Tried the new patch out and it apears that the XR2 and XR5 are working fine post patch.   I will keep messing around
with both the XR5 and XR2 to see if it's all good.

I can only assume that the patched DGIV is not working, correct?

Got it Dan, but probes ARE ALREADY DRIVABLE.
After landing and autopilot termination if you switch focus on on probe you can takeoff again and even go back into
orbit manually.
It is just a minor detail that you have to wait until the probe autopilot completes deorbiting and landing because you
can't disengage it until it terminates the program.
I have no idea how much work it does involve but my idea was just to add a "disengage" switch to take over
manually.

Okay, I checked, basic override was possible without too much work. You can enable/disable pilot
and eject the shield with two key.

Best

The patched DGIV-2 compatible with UMMu 2.0 and UCGO cargo DLL
is distributed with UCGO, I think it will remain like this for the release.
People that forget to download the 2 version will not have problem
with it.

I wonder if I'll not include the DGIV-2 dll also with UMmu distribution.

All working here as well. Did a test prior to running the patch utility and orbiter froze, patched the dll's and it worked
perfectly.

Looking very good here Dan, Many thanks.

Absolutely! Most will not download the .dll separately, and then they will wonder why they can't carry UCGO cargo with the
DG-IV like Dan said they could!!!!!!

That would make the essentials fairly idiot proof.

I don't know why, but on the hundreds of dll I have, only 7 are concerned about your patch, and, except preludeII, they are
all DGIV cargos

I will try with the new patch this evening

Anytime it's a pleasure Dan,

PS:
Definitely 100 percent agreed on that, over 3000 flying hours luckily I never had to eject but I never heard of
anybody jumping back on an aicraft he bailed out from

;)

"displacement booths" doesn't seem to need patch, the problem probably came from prelude II base

do the scenarios need to be rewritten or does the patch applies itself instantly ?

my current modules file is the same size as before (104 MB), were they many changes ?
