Oh well, uh...

You didn't see anything. There is no "project DeltagliderIV". DeltagliderIV does not exist. Go back to your homes and forget
everything...

And remember that as more and more features are added to Orbiter that makes more work, more bugs and more beta testing. I
think a few older versions of Orbiter are floating around out there somewhere. Take a look a them and see what's been added
in just a few years. You've got plenty of stuff to play with until the next version is released.

Also remember that Martin doesn't like being bugged about when the next version is going to be released. I think he adds one
month to the release date for each post of "when is the next version coming out?".

I was thinking the other night that multiplayer would definitly be cool. Sure, space is lonely. It doesn't have to be.  How
about some form of ATC like Proflight? ATC would be really cool.

Already got to multiplayer!?
Just wait about a year maybe for an addon called 'OMP.'
Info is probably still in a news article on the front page.

Face closed the project though, and from what I gather, he hasn't done anything with it since it was closed last September. I
would be interested to know if he will release it anytime soon, or wait until the next version of Orbiter comes out. Maybe he
isn't bothering to do it at all.

I think ATC could be incorperated into Orbiter Sound, but it would need an additional menu modules to be written I'm sure. I
think that would be an awesome improvement, but would likely require many months of work (and that would be just to record
the files, much less perform the programming). Also, I believe Proflight would hand you off at a certain distance from the
base, and that would require some serious programming knowledge to make work.

Maybe after DGIV is done and Dan rebuilds his bank account with his payware? Perhaps Orbiter Sound 4.0. I would volunteer to
record at least one series of wave files.

Kind regards,

He only closed the beta-testing, just like Dan did with the DGIV.

I didn't mean to offend anyone and I'm sorry if I did. If face is still working on a multiplayer module, that is fatastic. If
his open beta was causing him to get bad testing reports, I can't blame him for closing the beta like Dan did.

I think Multiplayer would be great, but I would be happier to see ATC and AI prior to Multiplayer. After all, we still have
quite a few people with crud for Internet Service that would not use such a module. ATC and AI would add a little depth to
the simulator. Can you imagine sending a transmission back to Earth and it taking a full hour to be received and acknowledged
round trip? Quite a few lessons could be taught.

Unless it's changed in the past week or so, I think OMP is still in the alpha stage.
