Ooh, ooooooh, *raises hand* Just thought of something! Say, dan, why not give a limit to the electrical current one of
the DG's generators can produce? Say 50 Amps or so. If you wanted to run everything, you'd need both generators,
otherwise, during normal flight, having one would do. That would give a better reason to have two generators, and
would give a touch of realism, don't you think? Oh, and having a limited fuel tank for the generators would be cool,
too.

The idea is nice but that would mean rework a lot
of codes and graphic that work already well.
I'm not that hot to review part that work
and the benefit is small, very small.

That's a bit better,

Well, you just have no luck, your the Number 1357 to ask me something
and you come with ideas that mean that I must rework things
that took me days or weeks to do....
It' like saying while the house is almost terminated that the wall
should finally be repainted.

And unfair because in the community you can hardly find someone
that listen and take care of requests and support question as I do.
More often you don't get any reply. (if by any chance the e-mail is valid)

Dan

You know, what I'd *really* like to see in the DGIII would be a camera-like device like a telescope/FLIR installed on
the nose, with a capture-to-disk option. Orbiter is all about exploring, and although we can always take screenshots,
it takes something away from the experience not being able to take pictures with on-board equipment like
astronauts would do.

Come to think of it, it wouldn't need a specific panel - maybe a dedicated MFD would be enough. Full color, IR and
radar mode, that would make it one heck of a research (and recon) platform. Taking snapshots of Chinese missile
bases from LEO, anyone? :-)
