I don't mind this creation, nor any other of brenton's gupt's so far....

but I'll tell you, I've claimed the gupt 12 (which happens to be the next one) since aound #6-7... so heads will roll
should mr. gupt starter brenton decide to take what is rightfully mine.. and I'll be aiming for him himself should that
scenario unfold... just so we all know in advance...

SO HELP ME GOD!!! :grrr: ;)

(I'm reaallly not joking that I'll be mad, 'specially since you-know-who was the one who not only opened a defunct
gupt because he felt that he should have taken seriously the joke that gupts were being started every other day,
that he closed my only other one #5 prematurely, and that he's probably started more than half of the existing ones,
more than any other one of us combined!)

I'm not mad at any of this, but I just want him to know why I will BE mad should it not be me that opens gupt XII, and
I will do so when I'm good and ready, and I will be so only after *I* decide that the number of posts in this gupt, and
*I* will publically post for permission from everyone for when that is, and I want doc's word that he will persecute
any who violate the rules of gupt creation that we all agreed on a while back for this.

all that aside, Dan, when are you going to add those reindeer and santa to the top of the page like you did last
year?

Free, where do you find this excreta?  Sounds like something out of Beverly Hills Cop (the first one).

What can I say?

I just have a talent for finding this stuff.

I'd post an article I found about a whale visiting London, but I'm sure that's old by now. ;)

here's another interesting link, though.

Glad you're here.

OH WOW~!

you know those revelations that you get every now and again? like understanding something (usually something of
an everday nature) does something, but then learning how it does what it does?

well, even if you don't understand what I'm dribbling on about, it doesn't matter. I HAD one of these revelations. and
that is to say, I learned that....

pickles and cucumbers are the SAME F***ing THING! just that they've been pickled (and yes I knew about the pickling
process, but not the relation between pickles and cucumbers. I thought that cucumbers and pickles were two distinct
foods!)

it's like learning that what you thought you knew was pluto turned out to be two smaller objects combined. you feel
like a total idiot for not realizing it before, but all the same your understanding of stuff is just that much better. :)

Oh, that's just foul, dude. ;)

but you don't understand! :)

It's like waking up and realizing that something you've held as correct information for years isn't so correct after all.

it's flabergasting!

Oh no, my friend ... I understand it only too well. It's like everyone telling you about the joys and rewards of raising
children well (and not reminding you about the pain that goes along with it, too). And then one day ... they've left the nest ...

AND FREEDOM IS YOURS !!!!

BTW ... did you never make your own? Or are you just that much farther away from the farm of your ancestors?

Try it sometime. Marvelous experience. You get to double up the garlic (better when it exudes through your pores) and, if you
have access to it, use 35% glacial acetic acid rather than everyday, run-of-the-mill vinegar ... wonderful pickles.

no sir. not overly much of a farmer's blood in my veins. I actually have an interesting family history though. one of my
aunts on my father's side once mailed me a full documented genelogical study of the family on my father's side, of
which goes back to the 1600's even. that was cool reading. and of course over such a long period of time you see
some that would certainly be considered farmers, though nothing really recent, so it's been pedegreed out, as I
would like to joke. ;)

I also have a story of one of my great great grandfathers (on my mother's side) serving in the union army during the
US civil war. according to this story, he got so drunk he fell off his horse. yes, I would definately consider alcoholism to
be a bit of a...strong unfortunate history with my family, but in the end it does make funny things to listen to. :)
somehow I wonder if I haven't already mentioned this in the back of my mind.

although I will admit that one of my possible retirement goals, depending on how much money I raise before then, is
buying a crapload of land in the middle of nowhere (mebbe alaska. eheh, that's about as nowhere as you can get in
the US nowadays. :) and as seeing as I am half a polar bear... :) )and just growing anything and a little bit of
everything edible. that way in the event of a total utter world economic collapse I'll have all the food I need, and then
some, thus ensuring my position as a vast overlord in the coming dark ages. :) :) :)

Of course, other possible retirement goals include taking over a third world country as well, so you can only put so
much weight onto something that may never happen. ;)

Hmmm.... Alaska .....

Before you consider buying, read Robert Service "Song of the Yukon" ... quickly followed by "The Cremation of Sam
McGee" and "The Shooting of Dan McGrew". For a proper perspective on religious paintings, also see "The Madonna".

All by Robert Service.

Taking over a third world country? By the time you reach the appropriate age, that may be somewhere in North
America ... after the Balkanization.

well, everyone. I'd just like to make an announcement, with it being that I've just graduated from DeVry!

once the pictures are developed, I'll look around for a scanner to show you all. :)

no guarantees as to how fast that will be as I'm still lazy old freespace, but I'll try to speed it along. ;)
