If you are not familiar with how orbits work, visit the JPL site
http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/basics/Or run through the tutorials here
http://www.eharm.net/Shop/Freeware/Orbiter/Tutorials/ First launch into a low orbit around Earth. Next you need to align your orbital plane with that of the Moon's. That is you and the Moon have to have the same angle in relation to the equatorial plane. Use the Align MFD to do that. Just read the manual on its use, it's pretty easy... even tells you when to fire your engine.
Once you are in the same orbital plane bring up the Trans MFD. This one is not as intuitive, but once again the manual will help you. The idea is if you do a big prograd burn along the path of your orbit, the other side of the orbit is going to go further and further out, until it actually reach all the way to the moon. The transfer MFD will help you figure out when to do this so that the moon will be there when you are.
Watch out! The fist time I went to the Moon it broadside me from my right before I even saw it.
Have fun and happy flying!
