Maybe this can be added into 2.5.  But it would be nice if you could change the HUD image.  The one that you see when you switch to cockpit view F1. 

Also it maybe asking to much but be able to customize the rcs exhaust. 

I do a lot of custom Ummu Space 1999,....  And the nozzle doesn't align.

MAybe part of a cfg?

I would say it would allow more user defined UMMUs.  I have seen that complaint on the O-F.  You can make a Ummu easy but the Rcs thruster may not match the new mesh or may not have any at all.  The f1 view also.

I see a very few if no customisation of dozen of things that I have opened by config file or SDK on OH (apart the award winner DGIV skin of course ;) ). HUD custom and RC would mean two-three weeks of work (I count test, doc etc), so I wonder if this really worth the efforts ?

I would say yes.  Since I use different meshes for Star Trek, 2001, Forbidden Planet,...  It doesn't look well when the thrust point is no where near the new meshs thruster.  And the f1 view doesn't match the exterior suit.  I can help.  iF NEEDED.

Regarding customizing the location of the RCS exhaust, I agree, this would definitely be useful for customizing UMMU meshes.  Even the old faithful Spacecraft3 gives you the option of customizing the visual location of RCS on vessels via the .ini file.

I'm going for final for all my addons and I removed the exhausts, problem solved ;)
In reality those exhaust are almost not seen. Also there are no thrusters on the suit and I don't plan to rework, 6 7 textures just  to add that.

But there will be a lot of good surprises with the differents addons.
A new preludeIII base which can add IA vessel, lights, animation (linear, rotation) and switches to any base using config file.This mean train, vessel fly by over base,turning radar, blinking pad or pad texture that detect vessel.

I reworked the UCGO shuttleA, better cockpit and model, there will be a VC to the Azure rover
as well as wheels smoke to cars. etc etc.

Thanks.  I know we can turn the light off if no light is there.  What about being able to change the F1 view background?  Let me know if you need testers

Test of normal map on the futur Shuttle -ACV (Advanced Cargo Vehicle)... The effect is cool but maybe the color isn't ? what you think ?



Maybe white ? (specular is still yellow)

In simulator the later give the better result it seem to me...

Shuttle-ACV (Advanced Cargo Vehicle) :explique:

I'll keep the original layout but redo almost all the textures and add extra modelized details.
The model is dated about 8 years ago and I can almost add 20-30'000 poly without problems.

Maybe also O2 crew consumption ? (by request?)
Skin ?

O2 consumption and skinning would be pretty cool I admit.   I love using the current Shuttle-A for doing stuff around the moon so this attention given to it is certainly very much appreciated.

Looking good.  Any chance of being able to change the Cockpit view so the user may change it?  Like my Robby the robot Ummu.  Here is what I get for the cockpit view.
