Hello. Inside OrbiterSound 3.5's configuration dialog, I have all the "Enable/Disable sound and set volume" options turned
off, however I still hear the engine sound while using the DGIV, but it's working as expected from all the other stock
orbiter vessels. I am sorry if this has been reported before, and I would much appreciate it if someone could point me to a fix.

You can not turn the sound of the DGIV off and it works only with the sound pack just go to your sound folder and
delete the sound file (or replace it with a sound file where you hear nothing) if you dont want to hear the engine
sound.
