I can get through the atmosphere easily, no problemo.  But every time I wind up in the ocean or let's just say, not the
base when I use the DGIII.  When I try to atmosphericly fly back to the base I run out of fuel.  If you just want to E-Mail me

Try using the LandMFD. It will get you very close to your desired base.

Usually it just a matter of trial and error. For instance, if you are trying to land at KSC, start your deorbit burn at about
the Hawaiian Islands.

Oops sorry, it's actually the Lunar Landing MFD, but can be used for other bodies. You can find it at AVSIM.com, remember you
have to be registered there, but it's free so no big deal.

Another choice would be the IMFD available at jarmonik's site. The BaseApproachMFD is part of that package.  Also take a look
at Michelle Megan's deorbit tutorial available on this forum. Off the cuff, without looking at it again, I think the angle
was about 7, can't remember the PeD.
