Firstly I'd like to thank DanSteph for the DG2 add-on.  It rocks!!

I have unchecked the "Play ATC Sound" option in OrbiterSound 2.5's configuration.  ATC sounds
are properly disabled unless I am playing a DG2 scenario.  When playing a DG2 scenario, the ATC
sounds play anyway.  I've worked around this by removing the ATC sounds from the radio folder
but, shouldn't DG2 honor OrbiterSound's configuration?

Hello Jimmy,

Your right in a certain manner but the ATC code use a feature
of my soundSDK that overwrite the config's value when you
press the radio button. I decided that while you have a button
it would be better if it really control the radio (atc) behaviour.

So the simplest way to tune radio off is simply to leave
the radio button (upper panel) Off.

Another possibilities is to bring the radio MFD (SHF R)
and to tune to a non existing frequency so you can still
manipulate the button and you have no ATC.

BING! (lightbulb just appeared over my head)  That makes complete sense.  I assumed the radio
button also affected the NAV radio stack along with the docking, undocking, and landing clearence
sounds.  I guess I should have verified that first!

thanks Dan

As atc sound is played randomly the relation
beetween button and atc isn't so evident. :wonder:
