Is there any way (or will there be) to toggle the sound on/off during play?

Great module, BTW, Dan.

Cheers,

Carl.

Wow... that's kinda of a wacky request, Carl.
Of course you can always disable Dan's Plug-in at the start, but Volume knobs work pretty well,
too.  Almost seems like a Joke for someone to want to acutally turn the sound Off.  Why would a
software 'toggle' be useful ?

Heh, I knew someone would ask. ;)

I often like to play music from my computer while I 'orbit'. Then when I go down for dinner (or to
hang in the lounge, whatever) I want to keep listening to the music  (which I have piped
throughout the house)  and leave my ship happily orbiting away. Needless to say, it would be good
to do this without having "Well somebody finally gave me a window to look at' popping up in the
middle of songs while I'm sitting in the lounge.

Of course,  I could just restart Orbiter with the sound module disabled, but as it takes over 2 mins
to load on my system, I was hoping for a quick-toggle.

Then again, if Dan manages to get the sound module to react appropriately to internal/external
POV, then my problem is solved. Just stick it in external view and drift silently thru the void. :)

One day, I'm sure.

It's your day of luck :)

bring the radio mfd pressing  key SHF R
there is a mute fonction here that should mute all the sound.
(I didn't use it since age I hope it still work for all the sound)

About internal/external POV I have requested many time to martin
a value that show if we are outside or inside the vessel but for now
this is still not implemented in the SDK so I have no way to know
which POV is currently in use.
