Background / cockpit white noise

Hello, Dan! Nice forum you've got here!

Your DGII is an absolutely lovely machine; but there's something I've been trying to toy with that I
wondered you were doing anything with.
The issue is background noise in the cockpit; the sounds the vessel make while operating. You
know; the hum of fans, the rumble of turbines etc. It makes the vessel a little more 'real'.
I tried tweaking the sound files a bit; but either due to my inexperience with sound-file tweaking
or their design, it didn't work.
This is of course strictly personal preference; but would it be possible to add a bit of constant
background white noise to the spacecraft while the generators are running?

The background sound are those of OrbiterSound
this is why perhaps you didn't find it.... (or you didn't hear any change)

Those sound can be found in "Sound/Vessel" directory and are named
from:
ambient0.wav
to
ambient9.wav

Take care that if you change them each vessel will see it's backround
sound changed also.

If you make a whole new pack containing good sound
you can submit them to me I can make an aditionnal
"ambient" sound pack available in "third party" download
for OrbiterSound.
