Hi ... I'm new here and would like very much to map RCS to joystick and LIN functions to hat. I've searched all over and found nothing to help. Does anyone know of a way to do this? i looked at key.cfg file and realized that even if i remap the lin keys, they will still respond as RCS if LIN/RCS switch is pointing at RCS. :wonder:

Hi, David,

You could look for "Joytokey" program (free) that can do what you want. But, there's a limitation not due to joytokey, but due to ORBITER. Orbiter only support one joystick. Be aware about that...

Thanks for the response. I've have a utility through my Logitech Joystick which allows that. I was trying to get around the Orbiter limitation. Orbiter is an AMAZING creation, but i'm suprised there's no easy way around this limitation. I have trouble flicking back and forth between RCS/LIN getting lined up on things and would've thought it simpler to have both available at the same time.

Perhaps this is my purpose, to attempt a work around. It'll give me something to attempt, not sure it's within my ability. Not only am i not a rocket scientist, but my only programming experience was on a mainframe. :doubt:
