heh, yeah. It's got a similar style to groups like Bee Gees or Bonnie M (or whatever the spelling) and yes, the videos
back then were... well.. a rather new invention and so appropriatelly silly :)

back to topic :) 06:35 zulu, night, visibility zero, overcast at 3000ft (oops I mean 1000m) :)

:)

such conversions make it difficult to determine which one was the original measure and which one was after the
conversion, but I'll have you know, that a yard is 36", while a meter is about 40"

so you're saying that 3000ft, (1000yds) = 1000m (which lots of people have the habit of estimating)

but a more accurate conversion is to subtract a bit from the meter side, as they're a tad bigger, or add some to the
foot/yard  side, as they're smaller, so you could say....

1000m = 3200ft
or
3000ft = 950m

both are incorrect also, but less incorrect.
I'm suspecting though, that you only added the ft in there to appease me, as 1000m does sound like a perfect rounded number to use in such a situation, though...

hehe....

After the winter had a short break, he's fully back now! :)

This morning it began to snow, this is a view from my window. I took the picture a few minutes ago.

You can see a gym on the left.

Light snow shower, -1 C

I'd love to live there.

I live in Austin, Texas, USA

We just got through a thunderstorm, but before that it was about 101 degrees F and 100% humidity.  Our heat index
was about 110 degrees.

Yay! I have clouds! We've had annoying boiling sun for the past week and now finally I can cool down!
It's 8:01 here now. I know I should be in school by now, or even work experience (which is where everyone else is),
but I've got a very important concert and going to school would be a waste of time. ;)

Hey
Here in the south of France if you get 5mm of snow on the ground for more than 10 mins all state organisations (
post-office/schools/town-hall/police/ and so forth go home and stop working,  the roads are chaos with
cars/trucks/buses piled up at every incline, and everyone shouts for help

but when it like now 37/40 degrees they complain cause its to hot, and its like this for half the year

but thats human nature ( always whant what thet aint got )

How can anywhere on Puget Sound be pretty warm. The ocean moderates you temperature, you get rain all winter (beats the hell
out of shovelling snow) and your scenery is just so cool !!! (yeah, even the Space Needle.)

Nice to see this topic bumped, once again.

Southern Ontario. Fairly cool for the last week, around 24-25 mostly. Today, muggy (humidity is up again) and 30.

Hey MadMike. Things are no different here than they are over there, but, what do you mean by state organizations (government
workers anywhere else) actually working? Doesn't happen anywhere. They may go home when it snows (here that happens after the
first metre has fallen) but they sure as hell weren't working.

First time i've seen this thread.
Weather here is cold and dreary, about 20C and looks as though it's about to chuck it down on me! :(
BTW, Krytom - there's plenty of good skiing to be had in scotland, just don't go to any of the bleedin' public slopes ;)
