Boy dan, when did you start this? :)

Of course... if Fs is set on english unit there is miles, knots and lbs else it's metric ;)

It is :)  a lot of sound feedback and the most ever detailed report for each flight ever seen in Fs.
For exemple when you do weird things as dive or looping and just before impact
when your are about to crash you can hear the passengers that scream behind
you... awesome :)

I'll need more beta tester soon but now the team is essentialy in french (7 tester) and so are
the beta forums... :wonder:

(most screenshots are old on the site)

Well, you know, probably the old *slips Dan a $20 bill* system might do the trick :)

Looks neat, Dan. Who created those fascinating text descriptions in the report? :)

I'll beta test too, if you want. :) Also you mention it's going to be shareware, any idea about the price?

About beta in fact I'll release an "alpha" version in one or two month
but with a limited choice of 20-30 guys I'll think about you for this team.

After that it will be available freely in demo version (you can only start a FsPassengers
flight at san-francisco area but can land everywhere and nothing else is limited)
and the price will be around 28 euro possibly more depend of the eventual editor.

Dan

Let's not forget about feet!  ;)

but yeah, having those REAL units at least doubles (and likely triples) the chances of me actually buying it. :) (which
were actually not bad to begin with.)

Damn underhanded traditional haters. ;) I mean honestly, I have no problem whatsoever with the metric system.
but some people get their grams, and I don't get my pounds. That's like mcdonalds giving away salads to health conscious
people, but won't give me my damn fatty burger!

It's insulting to me.

of course, I'm insulted easily on certain issues, but that's beside the point... :)

so a guess of about 28 euros?

using current exchange rates, that's about $32 US... I suppose I need more info now.. :)

tradition is a fine thing as long as it doesnt involve me ;)
seriously, though - a quarter pounder burger is much better than a 0.1133kg'er :)
(you didnt hear me say that though, ok?)

I sure hope so. Then he'll be able to go back to Orbiter Sound and DGIII and do free stuff again :)

What he needs to do, when he gets back to doing free stuff, is make a landing ship for Vespucci with the same or similar
features of the DG3.

The most prominent feature of FSPassengers which Dan didn't mention yet (but it is described on the site) are the
hazard zones. You can designate an airport or a whole country to have a certain percentage of "danger" and then
when you fly over it, pax get EXTRA scarred and if you set the percentage really high, you can hear gunshots and
explosions around you. What's even worse, your aircraft can get hit and you may be forced to do an emergency
landing. :)

It's a lot of fun! Now for a change you CAN actually take a c-130 and fly over to a real-world hazardous country and
simulate dropping food supplies to some location. Or simulate evacuating people from that location to a safe airport.

hehehe, I'm just stirring up your appetites and putting some pressure on Dan to make the public beta available as
soon as possible :) Oh, did I mention your flight attendands bring you coffe and if you fly REALLY well, offer additional
services? :)

On Orbiter note, I think we should each keep notes of our own suggestions and ideas regarding OS and DG, coz I'm
pretty sure Dan didn't keep track of all our nagging the past few months :)

Cheers,
