Dan

I've just seen your projects on profil supprimés site.
They look really good, and I can't wait for them to be released.

They are Dan's creations. They are likely to be released with the DGV although they are a good way through progress
now. Just do some searches of the forum for "Symphony IV base" and "Frelon IX" and you'll find some of the really
interesting features that are in them already and are planned. Originally these 2 were intended to be released with
the DGIV, but Dan just settled on only finishing up the Prelude II base which he announced somewhat late in the
DGIV development.
Check out this page of this thread: http://orbiter.dansteph.com/forum/index.php?topic=12011.msg185308#msg185308
A little ways down the page is the first announcement of the Prelude II base. Notice that he first announced it when it
was already pretty much done! In the same post there is a link to info about the Symphony IV base.
Apparently there is already an early system of AI and a 3D radar in the Symphony/Frelon"

I think I understand. :wonder:

But I think I might do what my orbiter forum signature says.

Dan would really have to be the one to answer, but since when(or if) he starts the DGV he won't be doing much real
life work(probably), and since the Symphony and Frelon look like they've gotten pretty far, I'm guessing it will come
out with the next version of Dan's DG.

I'm just waiting for the DGV to come out. The DGIV was awsome, but with some of the stuff I've been reading, it
seems like the DGV will be great.

No beer cooler needed. Dan has explained outside temp is -250. How cool do you need your beer?

DG V is not necessary yet. People were screaming for V when IV came out. I am willing to guess that not all
adventures have been played yet in DGIV, and a bunch of great addons have been made too. DGIV also gets more
and more fun with the advent of UMmu. More cool and neat ships are out there that allow you to transfer the crew
from one ship to another. This has added tons of depth to Orbiter. I am absolutely loving using DGIV for resupply, and
I have loved making the Prelude Add-ons and bases for all the places on Earth.

Symphony and Frelon give us something to look forward to.

Cheers,

"Sun Dog"

Just go with what you have. Maybe you could learn to program and make a rover for the DGIV. I'm sure that people
would appreciate it.

And before you say that you lack the time, think about Dan. He lacks the time as well.

Maybe if we all pitchedin a bit, and make it easier for Dan.

I'm going to quote Dan again:

Quote
Dan ripped off a quote from an american president (John F. Kennedy, I think) and modified it to this:
Ask not what Dan can do for you, but what you can do for Dan.
