Has anyone heard from nightlanding this year?

I have been tinkering with his Aproaid HAC landing aid.

So far I've made 4 HACs (Left and right turns @ both ends at Canaveral)

I would really like to have his permission before posting it on the web.

I have been using it for landing the GSNDO and the Shuttle so long that I forgot that I'm the only
one that has it.

If anyone is interested I can mail it. It's only 137 kb.

It's great for getting you'r bearings right when you scream into Florida at 2km/s :)

I know, but he's not answering mail :(

By the way. I've been trying to find info on the real HACs.

As the Orbiter slows down in the turn shouldn't the turn get tighter?

I remember trying to figure out the HAC turn in the old Shuttle sim, but my english was even worse then (we had pet dinosaurs in those days) :)

Where can I find info on the HAC display? (the one in the real CRT)

It would be a nice MFD to have. 8)

hmmmmmmmmmm............

You guys must be a gang of Ace Space Pilots because I only got ONE request for the landing aid :)

I thought astonauts were the elite, but here are a bunch of guys flying the STS by the seat of their
pants on the approach for KSC. I'm impressed 8o

By the way, it's gone verry quiet here. Does that mean that the new version of the DGII is on the
doorstep? :turning:

Hmm... my memory may be rusty... but wasn't there a post over on the official board a few months
back that said nightlanding was the guy flying that plane around Berlin (where the pilot was
saying something about the Challenger)?

Your memory isn't rusty at all...
I don't remember the link to the news
but I know there was a message in official forum
about that.
