I especially liked how you introduced the Blip debate... reminded me of how they marketed 'the
New Coke' in the U.S.  ...by changing it, it made a huge outcry of support for the awesomeness of
the original.  :)
Sounds like a great work in progress.  Feel free to keep asking us 'professionals' ;) any questions
that pop-up during development.

KEEP THE BLIP!!!  If you take out the blip I'll never forgive you, Dan ;)

What would be of most interest to me is a working RADIO so I can listen to music while I fly :)
Perhaps if the DG3 antenna is pointed towards Earth, it can tune in a radio station?

Or maby not just Earth!

For example; "This is Jupiter FM, bringing you Moon Rock and Roll from all over the solar
system" :music:

Don't worry Dan, you don't have to include an entire radio station in Orbiter Sound 3.0 :)

Would it be allowed to have dying sound effects like when you burn up in the amosphere, or is
that too harsh?

:hot:AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

hehe, you sadists :)

You would have us listen to people die, becoz we can't fly straight, AND listen to Brittney in
space.. :wall:

I'm reinstalling Leisure Suit Larry! :)

No but seriously. I'm having troubles setting up the sequential track.

The same .wav gets repeated if you increase time compression to 10x or more and them switch
back to normal speed. It's probably useful for something, but it get very old if you hear your
mission briefing everytime you deactivate time compression. I think it also messes up the timing,
and delays the next track in the sequence.

Did you get a chance to check it out? If it doesn't happen at your end, might be my machine, that's
messy.

Tnx,

About more sound I'm still writting the core after reorganisation
of the whole code so I'm not clear of what (if any) I will add
or not. I didn't had a lot of time this week. (work, familly)

It's not finished I'm doing right now the admin part to allow
easy edit/delete of the record in the base. ;)

Anyway once back on orbitersound I'll think about you for beta test.

I tried to add my name to the map, the password is incorrect?  Do i have to be a member of the
Dan's web page forum? or the orbitersim.com forum?  i'm a real newbie, please forgive this
embarrasingly (spelling?) juvinile question.

Yes, you have to be a member of the orbitersim forums. You can also find the password there

I had an idea.

If orbitersound works, why is it an add-on?  I think you should talk to Martin about including it in
the next Orbiter release :)

Including OrbiterSound in the main install package sounds great at first... but since the new Alpha
station has been incorporated as the default ISS, that developer has been essentially 'bought-out'
of his freeware rights.
I definitely think OrbiterSound needs more visibility as a download package in Martin's links, but I
don't think Dan wants to become assimiliated the way Andrew was.

I spoke to Martin wich agree for an OrbiterSound included
Anyway Reechka is plenty right and also OrbiterSound is in constant
evolving (slow perhaps, but evolving :)
