hello long time no see :)wel i was on vacation for a few weeks , and i came home the first thing i did was turning on
my pc and check the latest news and stuff

i was surfing on 'drudge report' maybe  you guys know the site
red some articles about obama's european tour.
and i saw a link where edgar mitchell one of the astronauts of the  apollo 14 mission claims that we are not alone and
that several governments covered it up
the response of nasa was: NASA denies it is involved in an alien conspiracy or cover up.

mitchell (confessed) this during a radio show

now i'm not a UFO nut or anything and i don't really believe in little green men :)  however i believe in life on other
planets but not inteligent there are probably some bacteries and microscopic lifeforms i think

butt i find this a remacable thing to say espacially from a former apollo astronaut...

here is the link : http://www.reuters.com/news/video?
videoId=87905&feedType=VideoRSS&feedName=TopNews&rpc=23&videoChannel=1&sp=true

what do you guys think of this?

Argument by authority does not get less bad, when it is done by an Apollo astronaut.

We never went to the moon ... it was a sound stage in Hollywood. gezzz, when are you people going to get
it.  :trucdeouf:

... there have been others that will not go "on the record" but have admitted to very unexplainable sightings
while on mission. hmm makes one think doesn't one!?

Yes, the fact that NASA says we went to the moon does not imply it was like they said... :)

No, it's a perfectly normal thing to hear from Mitchell. It would, however, be a shocking thing to hear from any of the
Apollo astronauts whose sanity ship is still afloat.

so mitchell is senile, insane? is that what your saying?  to be honest i find that hard to believe.
like i said i am not a ufo nut i do not believe the moon landing conspiracy, but i don't think that mitchell makes this all
up. There has to be some kind of truth in what he says. it isn't the first time the government would cover something
up, just look at the JFK assassination if your objective you know that his is a cover up the evidence of that case is
obvious, and of course watergate... just to name a couple of things...

however it is far more harder to cover up something like finding alien live especialy by more than 1 government.
in some way there will be a leak some day.  and i believe mitchel is 1 of them, maybe he is exaggerating a littlle bit
but i believe there is some part of thruth in what he says.....

I'm saying that his sanity isn't exactly proven, yes. It never has been either, he spent time on the moon performing
telepathic experiments and then did the same thing on the trip home. I'm just amazed that he ever got through the USAF  and
NASA screening processes.

He's what I would call a misguided person. It's easy for anyone no matter how educated they are to fall into believing
aliens are real. UFO's are indeed real, But their origin is debatable. He believes them to be from space, I believe them
to be otherwise. They are indeed fantastic things to witness, Thus making you believe they are spacecraft, But our
governments are likely as clueless as we are about them.
