Lol, I was testing something - I always use a proxy to access the internet for privacy reasons. Just wanted to test
that mine still worked.

URGENT, URGENT, URGENT!!!
Google 'DeltaGliderIV.' Towards the bottom, you will find something linking to spywarefiles.prevx.com!!!
So far it hasn't been found as good or bad with investigation, but anything on a spyware file website is suspicious.
The real DGIV config is only about 740kb. This is 13MB.

Only a automated spyware analysis, which did not find something fishy on the file.

Also the file they had found was 500 KB large, not 13 MB.

I would take a look into Torrent trackers or other P2P software.

Then what was I downloading?!:damn:
Anyways, I was thinking if it was bad, it might have been in that file that the spammer put up. This isn't the whole
DGIV, just a file or two.

Hmm, I searched for "Delta Glider" on "The Pirate Bay" (a well known torrent tracker site) and I found two results:

http://thepiratebay.org/search/Delta%20Glider/0/0/100,200,300,400,600

It seems they are putting Orbiter on there! Why would anyone want to pirate free software? One of them even links to the
official site! I'm confused... :???:

Pirate Bay is simply another BitTorrent tracker site that allows people running BitTorrent client software to download
files via P2P ("Peer to Peer" ) networking.  Many of the files you can download through BitTorrent are copyrighted
("pirated" ), but not all.  BitTorrent is simply a way to distribute files to a large number of users for free.

BitTorrent tracker sites such as IsoHunt and Pirate Bay are not making any money by hosting the torrent files (except
for ad revenue from ads served up on those sites), so no one is making money by putting Orbiter on Pirate Bay.  In
other words, it is simply users sharing Orbiter with each other for free.

For more information about how BitTorrent works, take a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent

Actually I think a few years ago Dr S put forward the idea of distributing Orbiter via P2P software, just to take the
load of what, at the time, were a bunch of really crappy download servers.

I think its a good idea... i currently only make good experiences with BitTorrent for getting large files, even though i am
pretty limited as ISDN user.
