I am just curious, has anyone used the DragonFly for anything interesting? Ever try flying it to mars while
:drink:  .  It does not look very usefull at the moment, but it has an nice Power Cell system that is believable.

The Dragonfly is essentially an LEO construction vehicle. It never was intended for interplanetary travel. Its primary joys
are in the need for precise control of power systems, environment and control.

If construction in orbit is not considered interesting, what is your criteria?

idea: make a space ship with a large docking bay and many docking ports capable of interplanitery travle: take it to another
planet with a few dragonflies and lots of spacestation-parts; get into a parking orbit and have some fun :)

What one who calls himself 'Me' sounds interesting. I have tried that but I cannot find a proper spacecraft for such
a trip. maybe i'll post a new scenario on OrbiterMods. It is possable w/various things to fly it to mars.

Remeber to lots of  & :drink: . It just makes flying more interesting....

Someone made a scenario where you had to use a DG to put a Dragonfly(unmanned) on a Mars trajectory. Then you
un-docked and returned the DG to LEO.
And here's the tricky part. You had to launch another DG from Mars, capture the incoming DF, and use the DG to insert
the pair into Mars orbit.

That should keep you from being bored for a while.:)

Dock it with a big, bad booster like the LTV from TTM24 and use remote control to push you wherever you want, Gemini-Agena like.

MARVEL! As the Dragonfly leaves LEO on HTOs to the Moon and beyond!

BEHOLD! The look of disbelief on the face of the Vespucci-D pilot as he sees the squared-out thingie zoom past his ship!

WATCH IN HORROR! As your destination gets nearer and nearer...

... And you suddenly remember that you HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO LAND!

This might work for Moon: try to aim into the mouth of the magnetic rail accelrator and use it as a decelerator! 8o :)

If cars were built with the same reliability we put into our satellites, they would have wheels on the top, on the bottom and on the sides; and every position would be considered operational.
