ReplaceStockSound3 probably has a bug.

I have confirmed that the 'ReplaceStockSound3' OrbiterSound API call does indeed have a bug both with
REPLACE_MAIN_THRUST and REPLACE_HOVER_THRUST: in both cases the new sound effect is played back way too
quietly.

I found out what the problem was with the RCS effects... essentially the effect was being played back in
orbiter several octaves lower than it should have been.... Basically the loud bulk of the sound was being played so
low that it would be below what even a dedicated subwoofer could play or what the human ear could detect even if
you could.

Why are you using 3.0 instead of 3.5?

You should replace sound with the same frequency than the default sound anyway, see "sound/vessel" folder.

The bug actually occurs in OrbiterSound 3.5.  The workaround is to play each replacement sound manually in a
separate sound slot, so it's not a major issue, although it does require writing additional code to play the replacement sounds at the right time.  Anyway, it would be nice if the ReplaceStockSound3 docs mentioned the 22 KHz requirement for the next OrbiterSound release.  :)

Anyway, Dan, thanks again for a great API!  OrbiterSound 3.5 works great and it's been rock-solid!

You welcome, sorry to not do better yet but too much real work. ;)

Will fix that for the 4.0 version...
