Not sure where my thinking is carrying on this one, but...

I was reading the interchange between bhieck and hispaorbiter over in the Orbiter Addon Forum and wondered if the
DG3 could simulate cockpit illumination changes (day/night, for example).  If so, how is it done, or can it be added in a
future incarnation?

It's probably redundant, given that we really only see the panels and out the windows, but, if it was possible to
move to, say the normal flight engineer's position (as on a C-130) and view from over the pilot's shoulder, and to
switch interior illumination to red (to simulate night illumination)...

It's late where I am, and I guess I'm not thinking too clearly.  Any comments on the above?

Regards

Well, I don't see why not. But I think stretching the current version would be more effort than worth. New version
might have all this included. It certainly makes sense to have light effects properly rendered in cockpit view if you can
look around to appreciate them..

As from moving your observer point, I seem to recall reading somewhere, that too should be implemented.... Red
lights would be NICE :)

Cheers,
