How do I disable the DGIII when docked? What's the right procedure when every one leaves the ship?

And by the way any news with the upcoming Orbiter Sound 3? I'm having a problem in a Scenario with the new
Vespucci_D and 2 DGIII.

DarkVoid.

If you're docked or landed, you want to turn on external power. turn off everything, the APU needs to be off, I'm sure
of it. but leave the life support bus power switch on, and don't forget to leave the cooling, fan, moisture, and filter
switches on as well. that should do it.

you welcome,

anyway i's true that as docs lack for some last features I should add
some more entry in the DGIII FAQ.

Anyone tested the docking with the vespucci to point me how to use it ?
so I can add this in the FAQ  Q: how to use a bigger vessel
to transport the DGIII / unload crew"

Some problems with sound using Vespucci to transport DG III and any other ships with custom sounds. What I do is
fly up and dock with Vespucci then edit the scenario to put in a standard DG for the trip. When I need to take the DG
III anywhere I have a Notepad document with the needed elements copied out of the scenario and add those.
Otherwise the DG III or Shuttle A2 will mess up the sounds in the Vespucci. Shouldn't be a problem when you get the
new version of Orbiter Sound out but for now you need some juggling of scenarios to make Vespucci work with the
DG III.

Everything works fine however until you switch control to the mother ship. Safe Mode and everything works just the
same as they do docking DG III to ISS or Mir. I've been hauling a DG around for some time with Vespucci and other
than the docked structure bug haven't had a problem.

There's a trick to it, I forget what exactly.
First, you don't need to do anything to the bottom two panels (engines and life support valves etc)
This is all on the topmost panel. Make sure the EPU is on and then turn all the main breakers off except life support,
then turn off the generators and APU. I think you need to do it in that order.

As an aside, I ran into an unexpected problem - even when in safe docked mode with the crew having disembarked
from the DG, I still run into "excess G" warnings (even though the only thing on in the DG is the life support).
Odd... At least the crew isn't there to get pancaked :)
