Hi.
A fellow Italian orbiteer (with an old pc) says everything was perfect with his DGIV, until he installed the "UCGO Christmas Edition".
After that, his DGIV appears somewhat "broken apart" in external views...

Is it a known behaviour?

It was a know behaviours with an outdated version of DX9 client.
The actual is corrected.

No return yet about a broken model, so wrong DX9 or something messy in download & install or orbiter installation.

Last possibility: His system doesn't support the new things (bigger panel etc)

I've recreated his situation, but I'm still waiting for his answer.

In a clean folder I installed Orbiter2010P1, latest D3D9, old DGIV-2, OrbiterSound4 3D and UCGO Christmas Edition, and I've got this:

Then I just added DGIV-3 Christmas Edition, and I've got this:

The UCGO have also a new version of the DGIV-3 dll (only the dll). It will mess the existing DGIV-2 animation.
If you install UCGO 2.5 you must also install the DGIV-3.

For final release I'll remove this DLL from UCGO, thanks for finding this out.

Ah! Very good info!
You see, I'm still an active betatester!! ;)

Btw, my squadmate uses plain inline D3D7 graphics, and he has solved his problem by installing the new DGIV-3 "Christmas Edition".
