I hate when in a mission, then everything goes black because of being behind earth or moon. :grrr:
Then I though if DGIV had big lights like searchlights.
What you think?

Hint: Look at your MFDs. Watch the Mini-Hud thing to see if you've entered the atmosphere (Dyn Press).

Unless you're doing it for the view. Not much can be done then, my friend.

No add-on has real lights!
Orbiter doesn't support more than one source of light (the sun)
The add-ons whitch have "lights" have only texture like light (e.g. CTV by Well & No Matter)

Try this:
In the Orbiter Launchpad, crank up "Ambient light level" under "Visual effects"

Maybe we should start putting search lights on vessels or else, its a bad idea engaging Holdalt at 20 ft altitude trying to find cape. You might get :sunk: lost.
