I thought it'd be nice to have a thread to talk about new developments in space travel and aerospace...

Well, ok, you found me out. This really isn't new, but hey, I'm slow to catch on :wall:
I just wanted an excuse to post this:
:)
If you haven't read about the ARES project already, well, check it out!

I'm a total sucker for theoretical Martian aircraft. If anyone were to design an orbiter add-on based on this project...
Well, I know indentured servitude isn't exactly legal, but I'd be very, very grateful :)
*almost wishes he were a she - this would get done in a second if that were the case*  ;)

Hey check it out - a high-res 3-axis orthagonal diagram of the thing. Neat! This would be a perfect reference for
modeling purposes...
*hint, hint* :)

I really should learn 3ds or whatever is best for modeling in Orbiter

You really are a sad individual. :) I'm specifically a space pilot in orbiter, not a frieghter pilot, nor an atmospheric pilot.
the DG3 is perfect for me. so I'm not really partial to that... but good luck. You can borrow my special yo-yo I used to
convice dan to put in a parking brake button in the next DG3 version.

*hands AH a hypnotic yo-yo*

Just be careful with that thing. you might really think you're a "she"

Cool!!! Thanks!

*starts running around in circles*
*wraps himself up in his bedsheets*

Ack... I guess you're not supposed to look directly at it, eh?

I actually found this one mars glider add-on via avsim, but I don't even know if it used aircraft.dll or what. It really
didn't fly at all, it just sorta tumbled until it ground to a halt.
