Krytom: Was that your mum's idea?

McBrain: I'll have all of your chocolate, for an 'Omega 19' device.

Shmi: Water and food on the way. And some Titanian Chocolate. Oh and some Europan icecubes. (To keep the beer
cold).

Freespace has heard of the terrible tragedy that has befallen Mars. He knew that the sigi pirate was terrible, but he
didn't know that he was THIS bad...

"Sire, the fleet reports complete control of earth. although. It's unfortunate, but we lost a solder in the process."

A whole soldier? oh, this is a public relations disaster in the making!

"Send some flowers! .. and some liquor, they're appreciate that!"

"yes majesty. And what do we do of mars?"

"Send a third of the fleet defending earth and venus to defend mars. It's pretty obvious that they're going to be the
hardest hit because of their proximity to the battle front. so far, we've destroyed every asteroid that dan has sent
our way."

"yes, sir. Also, the planetary shield is complete now. we can take at least two blows from a planet-destroying weapon
now. but don't worry, we can destroy any such weapons in that time."

"Excellent. Make sure to begin the construction of an identical shield on earth. is our other fleet at saturn yet?"

"No, but they should be there within the hour. Last reports indicated that they were preparing a massive fleet around
the ring areas. We may need to send some reinforcements before the main fighting begins."

"send the colossus. that one ship equals any of our existing battle groups if not more. we will win very easily."

This is going well. even if dan was able to send asteroids to venus, there's no way they could penetrate the shield,
and even if they did, the fleet could easily destory the asteroids as they made themselves noticeable in the
atmosphere while burning up. just an easy weak blast and then the atmosphere will take care of the rest. Even in
earth's case, the atmosphere will easily give away any falling asteroids before they can hit the surface. after this,we
shall show these barbarians what true power is.

On a side note, today I may be going to the adler planetarium today. Gotta love chicago for having all those world-
class museums... and to think I've only been to one of them so far... (museum of science and industies)

One of our scientists has predicted that the wanton moving of aseroids about, will perturb the orbits of the planets
and lead to an ecological disaster in the solar system! 8o

Most of the other scientists are sceptical :doubt: that Dr Cassandra's computer program is refined enough to model
the full chaotic "butterfly" effect, but still felt that you should be warned.

Thankyou for the chocolate.

The Venusian people wouldn't appreciate having a leader that knowingly participates in...erm... "free" software
exchanges. If that is in fact the way I did get photoshop and I'm not stringing you on.

I have no problem with you getting "free" software. It's your conscience.
