Hm.. Neat! I just took a photo last night of Death Star passing the Cape: "I think it is time, we demonstrated the full
power of this station"

Name the rules regarding screenshot size and the like :) I'm pretty sure I can come up with some nice shots

Coool!!!
I've been wanting to start a thread like this, but I'm glad you beat me to it reekchaa :friend:

I'd like to propose the following rules, please feel free to call me on any of them:

-- If you use any Orbiter modifications (ships such as the Death Star, new bases and space stations, new solar
systems etc) that are visible in your screenshot, list them (briefly) with your image.
-- No copying and pasting ships or planets in photoshop! C'mon, that's just boring! Adding captions/text in the image
is ok, though.
-- Like Doc said we should probably have some size guidelines. Some folks may have DSL and run hi-res graphics
modes, but we should remember that many Orbinauts probably don't. For some pictures it may be nice to have a
relatively small and/or cropped version (say 500 x 350 pxls) linked to your 1280 x 1024 (or whatever) image.
-- No ripping off other people's work. Goes without saying
-- If you create any spiffy scenarios (for instance with half a dozen DG and their MMUed astronauts tethered together
or something) consider pasting the relevant part of the scenario to the other thread I'm starting for that purpose so
others can enjoy the hilarity. Again though, don't use someone else's scenario to take pictures without giving them
credit.
-- Have as much fun as possible. If you don't, it's kinda like work! Bleh!

Yup, then it's not a screenshot anymore, but we COULD actually have Orbiter artwork as well.. :)

My suggestion would be to limit the width of the shot to something like the width of the table Dan uses for this forum.
Seems like slightly less than 800. At any rate, it should be narrow enough to fit on the screen without distorting the
table and making the horizontal slider necessary.

Let the show begin :)

Sounds good to me, guys!  :drink:

Resolutions at a max of 800x600, with JPG file sizes under 80k would also help the Dialups.  I think Photoshop'd
Artwork would be nice to see too, as long as it's stated as such.  (or cleverly disguised ;))

Donno if we need any Real rules or Formal Voting...  Unless Dan has some Ideas, I'd say Just have Fun !

Hey, what's wrong with you people? There's plenty to see in the cockpit too, if you know where to look...

example:

(My straight down technique on jupiter.)

This beats any of the current pics hands down.

regretting not doing so...
