Nice idea Dan. I think that if it gets the same interest as the Orbinauts Map did it should be a big hit. Although we
may need to advertise a little to spread knowledge of it. e.g. A BIG post with bold letters in the M6 forum. :)

ah. Ok. but does it say how *FAST* those server's will let you go? I suspect they let you have as much bandwitdth as
they want, but people can only download at so fast a speed, and if there are lots of people, the speed is evenly
divided between them all, making the site seem slow.  marketers are notorious on that.

On the paper they have the biggest bandwitdh of all isp around.
(300'000 site I believe)

In the reality it's "share bandwith" site, so if someone suck the bandwith
as it was the case some hours ago, your site suck. The only solution
is an expensive server that you rent just for you and even the bandwith is still
not garanted.

Notice there was no problem with this ISP until christmas but since
they growed faster than they added hardware and I'm now hangry with them.

Anyway they still promise it will go better, we'll see.

Dan

Yeah, I'm aware of that, and I would request that something be done about that. I really don't want my nickname
plastered all over every search engine. It was bad enough all ready.

It's not that I'm not proud of my sarcasm, Mister. Why don't you look up mine, and see *EVERY* major footprint I've
ever made on the web? believe me, I don't *just* like orbiter. It's kinda morbid.  First off, I'll tell you: I have no regrets. I'd do it over again.  but I wish it wasn't out for the whole public to see. that's all. a search on google will tell you that I've done everything from seti@home, to helping a faq writer on his document. it'll even show you all the pictures I've sumbitted for a certain emulation site.....

It's just that there's no privacy. There's nothing with wanting some. It's not a big deal that it's there, I can handle it. I'd just rather it wasn't.
