first, my name is david, although to be frank, I prefer my web alias. it makes me feel tougher than the "real" insecure
me.

second, I would love to be an overseer, but keeping an eye on everybody to keep them from goofing off would be a
lot of hard work..

mitsu, dan-sama, anata wa hidoi desu!

anyway, I could *almost* seriously read that, not that it made any sense, I can read the alphabet sounds, but the
complex kanji will taunt me for years. I will learn the vocabulary though.. Just be happy I don't have an IME installed
on my pc, or I could surprise you.

ne pensez pas que vous êtes si futé parce que vous avez employé le babelfish !

I just wonder why there is a great topic "Welcome TerraNova" and only others write to it but TerraNova don't write anything. like "Hi all, I'm the new member at this forum"!

No actually it wasn't meant as a joke. I saw her register at the Orbinauts map, you guys can check yourself, I kid you
not. So I ASSUMED, she's also registered in the forum, but obviously not. Can't actually see in the users database ;)

Anyway, she is a lot of fun, we chatted a little on the main forum. A great fan of Space:1999.

Sorry, I guess :) even though this turnes out to be the hottest topic in a while :)

Anyways, don't get yer panties wet just yet. I read somewhere that lately she's been orbiting it out (and more!) with
Mr. Batman. :friend:

You can sort of imagine this forum as a large room. With a new tiled floor, a place for people to spit and Canadave
sitting in the corner grumbling and eating newbies. Dan is in the center of the room on a large PC and when he starts
up the Orbiter Beta there is silence and when it is loaded there is a
large 'Oooooooooooooooh.......Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah' From a crowd of Orbiter fans surrounding him.
Freespace2dotcom is just sitting on the floor being sarcastic and McBrain is writing add-ons. DocHoliday is writing an
essay and I'm sitting there talking to myself. The female members (Michi and TerraNova) are sitting quietly in a broom
closet with pink walls that Dan calls the 'Ladie's Room'.
what about me?

well, sorry 'bout that.. but *I* wouldn't do that, so I can't see how others would do it. call it "stubborness" I have
some of that too..

anyways, I did say, 99% of the time, so that kinda covers my rear there...

Perhaps I need to rephrase...?

*erhem*

I play intellectual games, with orbiter being one of them. (though granted I like lots of other games, like shooters to,
hence my nickname)

You guys, well, you guys play whatever games you like, you know, I can't read minds.

(why is everybody starting to pick on me in this thread?)

Because you be David the Sarcast and we no like smartee people who know it :)

So you be playing your Orbitner or whatchemacallit and we be staying with our guns in Doom.

:) :)

I think McBrain meant to emphasize the fact that Orbiter is not just a game, but THE GAME :) so he didn't actually pick
on you. Have a beer

Sowwy. Insecurity leads to fear, fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering... Hmmm, I sense
much insecurity in you, young one.

Got inspired by your signature.
