Is it possible to travel from one star system to another within Orbiter using compressed time?

No, Orbiter only loads one star system for simulation. If you want to fly at a different star system
you must exit and enter a scenario which loads that system.

I fully express my thoughts on this subject in my review of the Upsilon Andromedae System

BTW: I am very close to posting my very own star system add-on.

Thanks for answering my question Gene. I have had orbiter for about 2 months now. I am
captivated by it. I have been looking for a simulator of this type for years. Some of the technical
stuff is a bit over my head, but I have been able to visit every planet and all there moons due to
time compression,although....it has taken just a bit over 50 years, and I haven't even began my
trip home yet I am looking forward to exploring other star systems. I was hoping it would be
possible to go from one star to another through constant accelleration in compressed time...guess
it is not....thanks again.
