If you want to make change I urge you to download
phpdev:
http://www.firepages.com.au/

You will have an apache server on your computer (in local)
that will make you all the test you want without broking
any on-line ressource

It's really simple to install and use....

Tres magnifique, my friend!!!  It's great.  I'm quite pleased.  Email me your home address, will
you?  Or a work address, if you're afraid I'll come hunt you down in France.  I have a few euros
with your name on them.....seriously.

if(date("d")!=$verify_temp[0])
{
       $do_maj_day=true;
       $verify_temp[0]=date("d");
       write_file("iplog.txt", $REMOTE_ADDR."\n", 32, "w+");
}

if the day change the file iplog.txt is erased

Well, if you're sure you won't take any euros (you spent a lot of time on this, man!), then at least
take my sincere thanks.   Now where's that iplog.txt function?? ;)

Sorry I never made it back yesterday, Dan....yesterday was the day from hell for me.  It would
take me about two pages to describe the wackiness I went through.  Suffice to say that it wound
up with us finally fixing our toilet and being able to turn the water in the house back on at around
11:30pm :)

To answer your question, Edmonton and France are seven hours apart :)  Say, this reminds me, I
had a question for you.  Did you know that France is part of North America?  Do you guys know
about St. Pierre et St. Miquelon?

Oh, I see where you live....  http://listingsca.com/maps.asp
hope you already visited the Edmonton Space and Science Centre
because it would be the first place I would visit :)

Seem a nice place , I was always attracted by the canada I travelled some around the world
but never went in usa nor in canada.... my closer trips was island :)

About my town (born place) here is a nice site with a nice picture....
http://www.geneva-tourism.ch/eng/index.php3
I lived several years near the "D" of "switzerland" on the picture
but since three years I live near the mountain you see in the far back
in france.

Yes I know about st pierre and Miquelon I'm a sail fan and age of sail fan also
and I read many books about sea, history etc. etc. so I know it well.

About the counter, 3 of your hit today are mine on different computer
I visit often the stat page :)

Well I'm at work again and I have some work to do.

Wow, Dan....that's a gorgeous photograph on that website!!  You lucky guy :)  What lake is
that??  It's beautiful.  I can see why you became a fan of the sea!

Eh, you should visit Canada one of these days, eh? ;)  We'll put you up for a few days.  I live in a
town 20km west of Edmonton (see the Contact section on the apfa.ca website and look for Spruce
Grove ;))  Also see the city website: http://www.sprucegrove.org (they make a big deal about
being a city, although it's only 15,000 people and you could drive from one end to the other in
about three minutes!)

Being a newcomer to Canada, I didn't even know myself about St. Pierre and Miquelon until
recently.  I'm hoping to visit there at some point...I'm really far away, but if I ever make it back
down east, maybe I'll get a chance :)

Say, speaking of the apfa.ca page, I meant to ask you....if I just go to the stat.htm page, does
that count as a hit on the website?  If so, it shouldn't, I don't think.  Hmmmm...is that what you
were referring to when you spoke of "admin counting being unfair"?  If so, I agree....it's unfair ;)

How's that chat function coming along? :P  And don't you have any REAL work to do???  Do you
just go to work, put your stuff down, and start playing around, or what? ;)  Geeez, man....lol

Well, speaking of which, I'm off to work myself :beer: What fun!  I get to install Office 2000 on a
laptop and actually get PAID for it....

Cheers,
Dave

Geneva lake west side of switzerland I howned two sail boat here one Bucero plastivella (7m)
and two years after a contest 30 (9m) I learned sailing in bretagne france (atlantique coast)
when I was young.

My wife and me plan to travel later when our child will be older
one of our dream would be to emigrate in canada but I know it's very
difficult for european (cota)

About Spruce Grove being a town, my new place, Vulbens is proud to
count 456 inhabitant (I wonder if they include the cow in the count also ? :wonder: )
and we can also traverse it in less than 3 minute... I mean ... BY FEET :)
But it's a calm place.

About apfa one count isn't dramaticall but I can reverse the change I made
yesterday so you aren't counted when viewing the stat page.

About the chat I'm working on it but slowly... not much of intterest I suppose

My work ?  a dream !  I come the morning or afternoon, work ten minute then I'm
free and sit behind my computer... I have photoshop, c++, phpdev, html editor so
I'm really busy doing stuff... for me ;) the only drawback is that we only have NT
here so when I work on the DG I can't launch Orbiter to test (but surprisingly
the code work often without flaw when I come back home..)

Bad things I must search a new work because this one will end at march
2004 but  there is no work offered in computer domain those time...
it's the crisis here.

On monday I must change my desk place into a new building I hope I will still be
able to work on my stuff. (the new desk is really less friendly)
