Ace, FYI, this post is on the same subject as your last one. It is consider rude to keep posting new topics on the same topic. So instead of starting a new topic just respond to the old one.

Sounds like you are there, 4.0 m is kind of high for the Moon, but you should still be able to make it. Bring up the Orbit MFD with the Moon as reference, turn retrograde to your Moon's orbit and burn until the hyperbolic orbit turns into an elliptical one. Watch out for Ped, It very well may drop below the Moon's surface.

I am absolutely the wrong person to answer this question. I am horrible at landing. But I suppose since the moon has no atmosphere, you could drop to a low Moon orbit. Then adjust your orbital plane so that your orbit passes over your land spot. At the other side of the Moon from where you want to land, do a retro burn to bring your PeD down to the Moon's surface.

You will be going really fast as you come around toward the landing, so you will need to slow down with reverse thrust. Adjust your decent rate with the hover thruster. Once you're close to the surface, hit A to maintain altitude, and switch to liner mode on your rotational thrusters.

Turn on the Map MFD. Just before you reach the equator turn Normal (or Antinormal) and burn until the green line is over the base would be one way to do it

Congrat :gift:

Plenty of things to visit here, cratere , roc, old apollo mission remain,
but I hope you have taken some sandwich with you because there is still
no evidence of any restaurant.

Next trip: mars and especially phobos wich I like so much because
of the magnificient view of mars you can get there.

Prepare for a complex mission but I suggest you use TransX
from duncan and read slowly but CAREFULLY the tutorial that is
on Duncan's site about transx.

The learning curve is somewhat steep but once you have done it
you'll find it was simple (and TransX ROCK)

You can find the Duncan's site link at my link page.
