I suppose the Grand Tour...a multi-planet mission with good close encounters with moons,
etc....launched from Earth of course. It's a big place, our Solar System.... :)

Mars--->Jupiter--->Saturn--->Uranus--->Neptune--->Pluto...

I would say as someone have already do that: A trip to jupiter with aerobraking
and rendez-vous with with a jupiter's moon WITHOUT cheating with the fuel.
Launch from earth, refuel at a station and then start your trip to jupiter.

don't forget to do multiple save (ctl-S and then move the saved cfg to
another safer place) while the trips last about 3 hours.

I should do that one time.

For the Grand Tour, try making two scenarios with these dates:
Voyager 2- August 20, 1977 MJD: 43375.500715625
Voyager 1- September 5, 1977 MJD: 43391.500715625

Ideally, you'd launch a probe from a Titan/Centaur...I think there's even a Voyager probe for
download out there...

Cheers,

I've tried the Voyager 2 Grand Tour on several occasions (I actually just used the DG2 starting
from low earth orbit...it really doesn't matter too much which spacecraft one uses, I suppose...)

I am here to tell y'all....it is HARD.  I got the encounter information from NASA/JPL; if anyone wants
to try to duplicate it, I can send you the info on it.  Actually it wasn't too hard to get to Jupiter, but
the gravity assist maneuver at Jupiter to place you on the right path for Saturn is impossible for an
amateur like me ;)

By the way, for those wanting to duplicate the Grand Tour, you'll have to use Voyager 2's launch
date I think.  Voyager 1 ejected out of the solar system after Saturn encounter, and I think it was
because the planets weren't aligned properly for a full tour to further planets.  I could be wrong
though....

In any case, we have Voyager 2's real encounter data, so it'd be easier to try that.  I'm still trying!
