I've been doing some long distance trips with the GSNDO and was wondering if it would be
possible to add a little more duration to the Oxy reserves. Right now with it set at 1 year I am only
getting about an hour at high time acceleration before I run out and have to halt my simulation
and edit in some more which means I can't leave it running or I loose my crew.  Maybe a setting for
up to 5 years so I could let it run overnight or possibly just a box where we can add the number of
years in the setup program for those long trips.

Matt,

You can reduce the crew to three men the reserve will last about 21 month
but I can add two years value it's not much pain.

Done,

about 23 month with full crew (consumption depend also if your men are "cool"
(low heart beat)  and 34 month with reduced crew of three men.

2 years would help a lot. I don't often have a choice of how many crew I carry. That's determined
by Mission Control (kids). Maybe you can work out a way to put a couple of them in a suspended
state. That'd be nice and even nicer if I could figure how I do that in rea life. :)

I found something today that you might want to check out. The latest patch allows you to manually
select a docking target even if it doesn't have a transponder. Today when I tried docking with
another ship that I had to manually select I lost my docking info in the HUD when I switched to my
lower panel to adjust the pressure and Oxy for docking.

The good news is that I haven't had any major bugs in the last three releases. Just minor stuff and
I've given the GSNDO quite a workout. Everything seems solid as a rock. This is turning out to be a
great ship. I almost hate to fly anything else.

Never mind the suspended state. I got that with a simple edit of the scenario file. Just have to
figure out how to do it in real life and I'll get a lot more peace around here  . I went in to my
(Current State) and made everyone but myself have a pulse of 1 and I get a lot more duration.
With four years it'll be even longer. Definately overnight at 10,000 X. They are still affected by high
accelerations and everything just consume a lot less oxy.

why, Dan?  The diagnostic shows there's nothing wrong with the AE35 unit.  Maybe we should go
out and check it in a pod? ;)

My sensor show that this element has a probabilities of 1/324.657 to fail soon
so CanaDAVE you'd better take a pod to check it (no need to take your
spacesuit, I control everything, it's a safe mission)

tiouuiiiii tiouiiiiiii :)

Ahhh, okay, sure thing!  But let me just talk it over with Frank Poole first in the pod, so that you
can't hear me (you can't read lips, can you?) ;)

I like my computers really stupid. The stupider the better in my opinion.

"Computers are simply babbling idiots. The only thing that makes them useful is they babble a
billion times a second". ---A quote from a textbook I had in school
