The good doctor is torturing us (again!) with preview pictures of the next version:
http://www.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/~martins/orbit/gallery.html
This kind of behaviour should be outlawed!

BTW I really like your DII, Dan. Lovely bird.
And at least, I know there are not several months to wait for the next upgrade!

That's it !!!!!!! I'm NOT logging off before that new version is ready

Do you guys know where Martin keeps his whish list for the new version?

I guess he gets about a zillion e-mails every day, so a request could easily go in the trash bin (by
mistake off couse :))

I was thinking off some small adjustments to the default MFDs.

Does anyone know if addons for most recent version will function in next release?

I.E.

Atlantis 1.5,project alpha ISS, Slats pad, Rotating service structure, Dans addons etc

Also is Martin planning on incorporating any of these in the next release?

Just wondered

Hard to say without knowing the detail of the change in the API.
but I would say if something is broken it depend if the add-on's
author will fix it or not.

I wonder if the particle system will turn off in space. It would be kind of odd for a spaceship to
have a smoke trail behind it where the is nothing to vaporize.

But boy it sure looks hot. What a ride luanching the Shuttle will be.

I would settle for being forced to avoid crashing into objects in space, and not being able to glide
right through them....that, to me, is one of the biggest flaws in Orbiter as a sim.  Where's the
danger element of it if there's no penalty for a mistake? :)

Cheers,

I just want to say sometihn about the sentence :
"The good doctor is torturing |us| (again!) with preview pictures of the next version:"
It's not just the US for sure (for example i'm not from the US!!!)

By US he meant 'us' the pronoun, the first person plural objective, corresponding to 'we'
