Parent animations are not an issue for me I do them all the time and there is more to it in c++ then in spacecraft3.I am sure I can do this and do a real good job. I did all the animations for the XR5. You do not even have to set up a spacecraft3 ini. I can work with just the model. Doug coded a nice in house model conversion programing for me. The program just works so you can model whatever you want and have as many textures on it as you like. Also Doug coded me a program to find the rotation axis of a shaft in 3d space. I can quickly get the rotation axis of any object. we can rotate in any direction. Here is the project I am working on with bjhttp://code.google.com/p/antares-development-team/If we use Google code we could work in the code together. I could show you where to add the code for the animations. If you can make a spacecraft3 ini file you can work in the c++ code. With the svn system all you do is click update off of the left click menu in the directory that the code is in and all the work I upload is downloaded to your pc. All you have to do at the least is open up the project and do a compile. Alos this is a fail safe system because if you brake the code you just delete the file and update and the file is re downloaded. When you add the animation code and are happy with it you can then commit the code to the svn and it will be there for me or you later. We can do this with the free visual studio express 2008.I intend to be a become a programmer so I try to work like a pro. I have spent 2 years learning c++ and at this point I can do just about anything I want. I do have trouble with the big math. There is so much we could do. We could feed other modules with the power from the solar panels. We would have to write an sdk for other people to use the power from the module. We can make this as real as we want.sorry I went so long I just really want to work on some real space sim stuff. The fantasy ship I am working on now is ok to learn on but I would love to redo the space station with systems and panels.Due to an illness I have unlimited time to work on projects.I would also love to have a crew management system for inside the station.
