Advice for mesh groups setup ...

I am modelling a vessel in Blender. I want to set up the mesh groups so that I can use Vinka's Spacecraft to fly it in orbiter. Can anyone advise me on what I should be doing to properly set up the animation mesh groups for use in this attempt?
