Welcome to Orbiter 2001!

As of the making of this add-on (Feb. 2023), Orbiter is more than two decades old. This addon allow you to return to the past and experience some of what Orbiter 2001 has to offer while keeping the comforts brought by later versions of the simulator.

All spaceships featured in Orbiter 2001 have been ported to Orbiter 2016 in all of their polygonal glory!. This includes the original Deltaglider, Shuttle-A and ISS, along with the Luna Orbital Station, which remains identical between 2001 and 2016.

The flight models of the Deltaglider and Shuttle-A have also been imported. Be aware especially for the Deltaglider, for it flies more like the Shuttle-A than its modern counterpart!

The scenario included in this addon contains 9 ships and two stations:
ISS is in low Earth orbit.
Luna-0B1 is in polar Lunar orbit.
GL-01 is on the ground at Habana, Earth.
GL-02 is on the ground at Brighton Beach, Moon.
GL-03 is on the ground at Cape Canaveral, Earth.
GL-04 is on the ground at Olympus, Mars.
SH-15 is on the ground at Habana, Earth.
SH-16 is in low Earth orbit, docked to the ISS.
SH-17 is in polar Lunar orbit, docked to the Luna-OB1 station.
SH-35 is on the ground at Brighton Beach, Moon.
SH-36 is in low Mars orbit.

Bienvenue sur Orbiter 2001!

Orbiter a existé pour plus de deux décennies a la création de cet addon (Février 2023). Cet addon vous permet d’expériencer un peut de ce que l'une des toutes premières versions de Orbiter avait a offrir, tout en ayant accès au conforts offert par les dernières versions du simulateur.

Tout les vaisseaux spatiaux dans Orbiter 2001 on été porté pour Orbiter 2016, polygones inclus! Ceci inclus le Deltaglider original, le Shuttle-A, et l'ISS. La station Luna-OB1 est aussi part du scénario inclus, mais n'est pas part de l'addon car elle n'a pas changée depuis 2001!

Les modèles de vol du Deltaglider et du Shuttle-A on été importés. Faites attention, car le vieux Deltaglider ne vole pas comme le Deltaglider moderne! En effet, il vole plutôt comme un Shuttle-A!

Le scénario inclu dans cet addon contiens neuf vaisseaux et deux stations spatiales:

L'ISS, en orbite basse terreste.
La Luna-OB1, en orbite polaire Lunaire.
GL-01, au sol a Habana.
GL-02, au sol a Brighton Beach, sur la Lune.
GL-03, au sol a Cape Canaveral.
GL-04, au sol a Olympus, sur Mars.
SH-15, au sol a Habana.
SH-16, ammaré a l'ISS.
SH-17, ammaré a la station Luna-OB1.
SH-35, au sol a Brighton Beach, sur la Lune.
SH-36, en orbite basse Martienne.
