Sub-orbital autopilot for DGIV and Autopilot 1.7 PDF manual missing?

(1/2) > >>

Ballisto:
Hello.

I have been looking for the Sub-orbital MFD by Dan Steph but the links to the download are dead.

Old link http://orbiter.dansteph.com/index.php?disp=dgIVMore&DId=168

Does anyone have an alternative link or can point me to a copy for this Autopilot?

I am using Orbiter2010 - many thanks.

Merci d'avance.

Ballisto.

EDIT: Just to clarify this is for use on Earth

Hello,

There is a suborbital MFD v2.1 by Laserpithium on OH :
https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1367
For Orbiter 2006, but it's the most recent version i can find. Maybe it did work with Orbiter 2010.

In addition, the Lola MFD has a module for suborbital flights :

Thank you very much for your reply.

I was specifically looking for the Autopilot for Sub-orbital flights on Earth. The above mentioned only work on bodies with no or limited atmosphere. Sorry I was not clear. Yes Lola works very well on e.g. the Moon.

I have also looked at Autopilot 1.72 which could probably work on Earth but the manual can no longer be found.

Many thanks,

Ballisto.

Hello,

I don't have the file pointed by our link, sorry. But i have the PDF doc for the Autopilot v1.7 (not v1.72).
There's also an Universal Autopilot by Artlav : https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5269

That looks promising - thank you.

Is there a way for you to share the Autopilot 1.70 PDF manual on e.g. dropbox or wetransfer?

Ideally it maybe could go onto orbiterhanger if anyone else needs it in the future. If I have the PDF I could combine it with the Autopilot 1.72 distribution and post it to Orbithanger after asking permission of the original author Rudolf Bumm. (if I can even find him)

Many thanks.

Ballisto.
