Web Site Migration, latest informations, questions, reactions

Site has moved so you can see informations or post (positive ) reactions here.

FAQ:
  • Site was down because the provider, OVH, decided to discontinue the oldest servers (mine was dated from 2005) so I had to migrate everything in catastroph
  • The new site is on a time sharing server at infomaniak.ch : it cost 700 euro less and the service is great. (I have another site since a long time at infomaniak)
  • The forum is new because the old one had no chance to work on PHP 5.
  • While waiting that everything is up again OrbiterSound 4.0 can be found here.
  • You will have to wait some more time for the latest version of the DeltaGliderIV and UCGO Arrow Freighter
  • Same goes for all the Francophone addons

You can test the forum's new feature by posting into this test topic: (in french section but we don't mind for this case)
http://orbiter.dansteph.com/forum/index.php?topic=12488.0

There is still a lot of work on site's design and features, so expect somes bug from time to time

Glad the forum is back Dan. We'd be lost without this one.

BTW, never did receive a notification email. Not that it matters, I've been waiting patiently and monitoring progress. Everything seems to be working fine.

Cheers

Probably my failing old memory, but I thought, at one point, in another forum that you were going to send an email. It was probably about resetting passwords, but since you obviously got around that difficulty ...

Still, it's nice to see you back. What I said in OF about people having patience seems to have been borne out.

Salut

Allo!

Nice to see the new Forum is up and running, Dan.  I had to create a new account because my last one was somehow broken during the transfer.  I could swear I had entered a new email address tho, but oh well.  Nothing is lost.

Right here I think, after Dan gets the page back up. I believe this is the only place you can get it.

Download page yet available....

Good things also :
All the old forum's url where wrong and would give a 404 error.  Google have registered 100'000 of them and thoses links are everywhere in addons's doc for example

Luckily I managed to make a short utility script that redirect on the correct location on this forum

So for example the subject "DGIV bug:" with this old forum url http://orbiter.dansteph.com/forum/read.php?f=2&i=11877&t=11877 bring the correct post with the new url on this forum  :youpie:

Welcome Timex!

Are you the one that made this here: http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=852 ?

If so, do you consider updating it for the new Orbiter version? It is a very cool add-on.

Mustard site was gone several years ago you speak about "francophon addon's site" ? I'm currently redoing it much better, tests are in progress (and are going very well) so for now it's closed for guest but you can see it here: http://francophone.dansteph.com/

ETA is about 15-30 days. I'll advertise everywhere once completed.
