I think it shouldn't pop just because the vessel is rising up.

Yes. This is also with default vessels. They shoot into the sky.

I have an idea that could solve the problem with landing with a docked vessel !

you don't need to have the vessel always docked : when the bay doors are closed, make the docked vessel disappear

when you are in flight and open the doors, create a docked vessel

when you are landed and open the doors, create a vessel undocked, but on a lift (like azure)

where does the lift come from ? well, that is a secret

as Dan said :

Dan

but how can we keep the Ummus, fuel and o2 quantities (and the rest of the settings)? the pilot of the small vessel could eva
his crew in the mother ship and the small vessel can be refuelled and reO2ed

It's been pointed out before, but is there a way to alter the docking HUD so it doesn't try to tell you to fly through the
Arrow to dock with it?

I think when you would alter the direction of the docking port it would alter the direction in hud but then you also
would be docked in the wrong position.

I don't think so. As a rule of thumb I start my approach with the r-bar synched and the the linear cross about 2 rings off
center (you miss the engines and the wheel this way, and it's pretty easy to slow down and dock in)

UCGO BUG

Bug with:

Forklift

Short description:

Forklift keeps accelerating

Severity

Medium

Complete description

Was playing with the Forklift and was trying to change direction (forward/reverse). Press 'End' and the forklift was
accelerating when my joystick was in the 'brake' position (ie pulled back). Holding the joystick forward didn't brake the car.

Reproduce bug

Jump into the forklift, go forward and back toggling the End key, after a while it might get confused what direction it is
meant to go and after that a few more tries will get it accelerating when the joystick is pulled back.

Miscellaneous

Direction could be forward or reverse. (occurs under 3km/h)

Old bug, but still there

Yes, a complete step by step doc.
The first page will be a "catalogue" with image of what can be done and what's required "C++YES/NO/CONFI/GYES/NO)

If you want to try yet it's really not difficult, just open on cfg of the type of cargo you want to do,
copy, rename, changes parameters, do one mesh packed, one mesh unpacked, done.

Just be carefful the installer for beta sanity delete yet some folders before install.
Case with textures2/UCGO for example so keep a save.

Okay, back to work after some rest, will review all the posted bugs

Ah...I understand now! I thought 'disk" referred to the container system on the back of the Arrow. To suspend disbelief
in our virtual universe, maybe we want to "add" the cargo "to cargo rack"- Thus, instead of "Add
from disk" (where else would we
add it from), we could "Add to Cargo Rack"  ;)

Correcting yet but I'm annoyed with this one, I don't know how to make clear that's a scenario editor feature...
Also I have only a few character available.

Well, I'm correcting "transfert" and other yet but leave it this one until we find a better things.
"Add to rack" is not enough clear either. Maybe something with

"scn editor - browse and add" (I would rename the button to "Browse +")

Would be consistent with Ummu "scn editor - add crew" ?

Debug message, too, to make sure that they get the point that this vessel needs to have its gear down. It should only display
such a message in autoland mode, though. It would be annoying if it showed up at any other time.

Dan, would it be feasible to make it so that you could scroll through a list of pregenerated UMmu identities?

It's a front screen message, gear message it only when autoland or hover pilot but "don't land docked" is for every case when
lower than 2000m and descending.

The reason is that forgetting landing gear is an obvious pilot error, but "docked2 vessel is not so evident, without Orbiter
bug I would allow it personnaly.

You mean instead of having a help text with ID in the input box ? unfortunately no, Martin allow us only this basic box.
nothing else. Switching to Hud (problem with extrenal view) or debug message (not consistent and uggly) would not be better I
think.

What I mean is something like the cargo interface. You can scroll through each cargo slot, adding things as you wish. If
there were a similar way to display both the list of cargoes and UMmu's that could be added would be a nice thing. Perhaps
for v2.0?

Having a docked vessel deserves a debug string warning, in my view. It makes absolutely certain that the user can't make that
mistake.

Browse + would work. Too bad it could not be more detailed like "Browse and add Inventory" or "Browse and add Stock". Browse
+ will work though. I see the conundrum.

UCGO BUG

Bug with:

DG-IV2

Short description:

Skin changes back to the default Spacetech skin after exiting program

Severity

Moderate

Complete description

When you create a DG-IV2 in a scenario and apply a different skin to it, the skin changes as designed. If you exit the
scenario and then reenter via the (current state) scenario, DGIV2 skin will default back to the Spacetech skin.

Reproduce bug

Go into the Arrow mission scenario. Create a DGIV2 at any base. Change the skin to a third-party skin.

Ctrl+Q the scenario. Reenter the scenario via the (current state) scenario from the Orbiter Launchpad. DGIV2 will be back to
using the Spacetech skin.
