...To all my Orbiter buddies and to Mr. Dan P. I've missed you folks and I have missed Orbiting. Something has compelled me
to return to you all and check on the community. I was wondering what everyone was working on. I imagine Dan has been busy
trying to feed the wife and kids. You don't hear much about Orbiter anymore, but I know everyone is still out there. I want
to wish you all blessings and happy Orbiting. I hope Dan will soon be ready to work on the DG V soon. I'm ready to test out
some new equipment.

Cheers and Beers,

Sun Dog in the Houuuuuuuse!
It's true... It's looking like a ghost town community now... And all those good times... (sniff)

Has using FlightSimStore.com been uber successful, Dan?   Is Martin moving on with other, more lucrative ventures?
Those level 14 preview pictures have been a glorious tease, but since the last release of Orbiter, I've had 2 more kids,
procured my masters degree, cured cancer, walked on the moon, and then watched my retirement savings plummet 70%.
Good times.
Whether it's over or not, Reekchaa's here in full support... throwing out his own ostentatious Hello!!!!  :friend:

The moods are better for O-F
I experienced the good times when it was ending. I hope it to return, meanwhile I'll wait for holidays to develop my
"company" maybe I could  bring some traffic to here again..

I agree with you Reekcha- I'm wondering what Martin is up to? We all seem to be very bogged down with life. I knew it would
be awhile for Dan to get FSX Passengers in the pipeline, and now he gets it out during the global recession. I worry for him
and his family.

I'm sure Martin has been busy too. It looks with the separation of the graphics from the math models that Martin is depending
more on others for the completion of the graphics work. I'm not sure if that is true. If it is, Orbiter may end up like a
multitude of "Orbiter Projects" that start out with good intentions, but never get completed.

Maybe I shall stop by O-F and check out things.

P.S. I have achieved 3 Cisco Networking Certifications...I'm ready to play

Cheers,

Hellooooooo Matt !

how ya ? :hot:

Congratulation for your cisco cert, I suppose it' wasn't easy
but now you're ready "to play" as you told... ;)

For FsPx, it's not going so bad, but I know now that I must do
one or another "hit" prog every 2-3 years and I question myself
for our future. I'ts exauhsting and I'm not a young geek anymore. ;)

Well, we're "up" (I hope) for 2-3 years now... we'll see.

Love the "in-a-nutshell" description :)

Since the last Orbiter release I opened up two new companies, left school, had two new Guinea pigs (was accidental, I bought
a sow noone knew was pregnant, hehe), bought and moved to a new appartment and discovered my retirement is after all up to me
entirely and not the state even though it gladly pulls almost half 8o my paycheck every month for me "future" retirement!

A big hi to Dan and everybody else (Freespace partially included, hehe)!

All hail the probe!! :wor:
