We are going

here, but as folks here know, I like to help. I want to do just that in this case.

Hey, Sin Dog, just out of curiosity, when you undertook the CCNA, did you do it in one test or two?
Welcome back, by the way.
Jimmy me boy, I took the test in two chunks. The new 640-802 CCNA test is available, however, I got tired of seeing all of my
coworkers taking the old 801 test 3 and 4 times before passing. I broke the test into the new 640-822 ICND1 and passed on my
first shot. I earned the CCENT certification. That basically tells your employer that you can log into a switch or router and
do minor troubleshooting. It's something.
The 640-816 test is a bear still, but I passed it on my first shot too. I don't like paying $125USD for my exams, and not
passing them. You really have to know access-lists, NAT and PAT, EIGRP, OSPF, VLANS, and spanning-tree very well to do well.
It took me three months of study/simulation including about 160 hours of my own free time to do well.

You will spend about $250.00USD on books and the lab, but that may not be a lot for most of you since the USD is in the
toilet right now. It is well worth it.
Now- I have a question that is "ON TOPIC"

. How do you make a chrome looking skin. I have tried tweaking RGB
values, but just seem to come up with a bright gray. I doubt it is possible at this point, but I am trying to get some
affirmation from you all- the learned brain trust

Cheers and thanks to all,
