Is it possible to program computer autopilots for the DGIV.
If so, you just made flying the DGIV much easier.

something like that ?

Seriously you can design new ascent pilot (see doc) otherwise you'll need
some ASM and hack knowledge to change the DLL.

Same topic other question.
This is the normal PRO903 autopilot file with an additional line:
ALT: 1200   SET FailLeftMainEngine: 1
I tried to destroy the DGIV at a special point, but it didn't work. It said 'syntax error in program'. Is there actually a
way to program a failure in the autopilot file?

Okay. I found the autopilot text files for the DGIV, but is there documentation for programming new autopilots. I have a
great idea for an autopilot. One of which is in the above picture.

On a more serious note and slightly :off: , is Orbiter Magazine available in English? It looks great, and I like your add-

Landing autopilots for the moon, mars and beyond should be at least third prioraty since you can easily screw up with
the landing, kill everyone on board and nasa will get sued.|(

You mean international fries. No-one owns space.

Curiously, during my recent trip to France, I found it devoid of french fries and french toast.

I haven't had the time to learn using the IMFD though I do want to. Because of this, I'm restricted to Earth and the
Moon. I'll be so happy the day I can finally get away from the HOME PLANET.

There needs to be another autopilot to calculate when the time is right to start the journey to the moon, mars and
beyond (with a limit of 100,000 years.)

Anytime you can start, though fuel usage would be large

It's not an autopilot, or even anything that runs under Orbiter... and it (Gasp!) uses ultra-low resolution (As in CGA... oh
wait-- a lot of folks on this forum are too young to remember CGA...)

Anyway...

Orbita...

...will calculate ideal launch dates for fuel-efficient interplanetary transfer orbits.
