Dan I am confused. Why do you call yourself "Dan Steph" in your addons, while your name is obviously Dan Polli???

Perhaps his middle-name is Steph?

"DanSteph" is my internet name, I guess Willy88's parents don't have
88 childrens named Willy ? ;)

Why this name ? when I first played online (it was at Age of Empire Rise of rome years ago)
I needed a username, as I have three name Daniel Christian Stephane I simply
took the first syllab of my 1st and 3rd name "Dan" "Steph" and since this time
I always use this name.

If you google you'll find one or two another dansteph but almost 99% of hits
will be me. It's enough special so I don't need to add a number after it.

Dan

See. That is logical. I wish I was more creative. I took my user name from my dog! That is why I will sign my posts with SunDog.

A Sun Dog, btw, is a real thing. It is a rare atmospheric condition that makes it look like the sky has multiple suns.

Sunshine was not unique enough. Years ago, I tried setting up an account with the New York Post and they suggested
sunshine135....The rest is history.

Cheers,

"Sun Dog"

Reminds me of another user name I used to use... it was "Mindofzoo999"

Can't remember how I got that though...

How funny ... when I was in high school - in physical ed (gym) once every year we were subjected to a barrage
of "tests" to see what we were good at or if there was any "un-discovered" talent.  The state also used these "tests"
to see what kind of shape America’s kids were in.  In a 440' relay, I ran bare foot at a pace that caused my gym
teacher to base my entire years grade off that one performance. I guess I must have run like Forest Gump.. :)  Later
as I hung with a teacher who’s husband worked at the Fermi National Lab (minutes from my house) I learned of a
intrguing theoretical particle called a tachyon and it all fell into place ....

For me, Reek is a variation on Ereek, and Chaa is a variation on Chi... So stinky life-energy seemed pretty cool.

I wanted to take the name "DanStooph" but it was already taken by some elite hacker.

I just made my nickname up one time on internet relay chat, I just thought of one real quick, and kept it. But some
have suggested it represents the space shuttle accidents, where 7 died.

Shortly after my wife and I were married, I considered studying aviation at the closest juinor college (Vincennes
University, or VU) that offered it.  They were having an open house at the school's airport, KLWV, so we decided to
attend.  There was a small luncheon with sandwiches and drinks, and then those who were interested could take
turns participating in free "test" rides with the instructors in the school's single engine learning aircraft (at that time
they were using the Grumman/American AA-5B Tiger.  Walking out to the tarmac, the instructor said, "Well, let's see,
let's take that one.  22."  Full tail number: n122vu

Alas, the school was to far from home to make driving each day feasible, so I did not pursue.  But I did remember the
tail number of the plane, so it stuck with me.

I did however obtain a degree in Computer Programming from the VU branch campus located in my town.  Ironically,
this branch does not offer aviation as a major, even though there is an airport 10 miles away, which is closer than
KLWV is to the main VU campus.....

Regards,

I just liked Val Kilmer and his interpretation of Doc Holiday in Tombstone.

I also have a similar mustache / beard setup so I look a bit like him there.

If you are a gamer, you may have noticed a connection to the Metal gear characters, Solid and Liquid snake.
And for the rest... You have to be 8 to place the Killing in front of the snake ;)

I was always interested in the Voyager probes and Star Trek Voyager, so the name Voyager was my choice. Unfortunally on 99%
of the places i register on, Voyager is already taken, except for the Orbiter forums and Dan's Forums, so i just started
pasting the first part of my first real add-on in my username, the sputnik.

therefore in just about every game i play, it's Voyager_sput ;)

"Tiger" originally was my callsign from an old flight simulator game, I've chosen that for a number of reasons: - that was
one of the "spoken aloud" callsigns; - it was accompanied by a cool nose art; - it sounded cool in English (well, honestly
speaking, if spoken in Russian, "Teegr" wakes up memories of a WWII German heavy tank...); - and - most importantly - i think
that tigers are one of the most beautiful species on Earth.
A prefix was necessary to make it possible to register on the Orbitersim forum, because Tiger nickname was already picked.
I've chosen "Siberian" 'cause I spent last seven years in Siberia. 8o :)

Very simple, first letter of my first name, and my surname.

SiberianTiger: What did you do to get seven years?

I just Decided to use my first initial, and my lastname. Besides, If somebody does hunt me down, the "aroma of my
farts" could probably stun a gorilla. I also am thinking of a special design for a mechanical pencil. You Break-off the
end tip, and a spring-loaded, (But secured) sharp tip rises out, making it a perfect idea for Geeks like me who wnt
stunguns, but the law prevents us from having so. You could tell them the tip has poison in it, like the British SOS
spies did with their needle-pens. "Ahh, the old SOS spy pen. You click it twice {click-click} and {woosh}" (the needle
shot out and hit someone by accident) I could do that! "Oops, wrong end. My bad!" (slips slowly into into a state of
half-vitality, but manages to summon help from a nearby scottish wizard) Sorry if I'm a little strange right now,
I've ben going on one cup of Coffee for 3 4/3 days now, and its a little afte r 2:00 am right now.
