Dan, Dan, Dan............... :)

First off, I figured you'd have retired by now and be living in a villa on the coast of Gibraltar or something, off the
income from your amazing FSPassengers addon ;)  Still orbiting though, I see, and inventing new and unique ways to
kill astronauts in custom-designed fictional spacecraft....ah well, I know the villa will come eventually ;)

Sorry I haven't been around for a (long) while....I sort of needed a break from Orbiter for a good long while for a
variety of reasons.  I just decided I'd check in and see how things are going around these parts, and what do I see?
New soundpack, new DGIV, new MMU....come on, I thought you'd have designed and built a real live spacecraft by
now! ;)  You're slipping.

Anyway, on a more serious note, just wanted to give everyone a cheery wave.  I'm going to be quite busy over the
next few months, but there's a good possibility that by the end of the year, I will have a lot more time to devote to
Orbiter, and I may rejoin the community in earnest at that point, depending on whether certain things come to pass
in my life.  If that happens, I may have enough free time to really participate in development of Orbiter-related
materials, and may be able to give folks a hand with things if there's work to be done at that time.

Stay tuned! :)

Cheers,
Dave

Dan, I first got orbiter about  months ago and DGIII was one of the first add-ins I installed. It is truly fanastic as is
the DGIV. I was wondering. After this is released are you moving on to bigger and better things or will you
occassionally give us new toys to play with. Either way I have the Gold Beta and am anxiously awaiting the final
release! Your add-ons are by far the best in terms of quality. The DGEX is like nothing compared to your DGIV. I love
the new features.

The DGIV is Orbiter!  Congratulations Dan, on the latest version of Orbiter's "Killer App!"  A truly amazing amount
of work and imagination.

For the past few weeks, awaiting the final beta, I've been following the forums so I also know how much work the
beta testers have been putting in.  Great job everybody, it was fascinating to observe the process.

I installed the gold beta into my existing Orbiter installations with all the other add-ons etc and so far have seen no
serious anomalies.  Will keep you posted in the appropriate thread.

Thanks again Dan!
