Hi, is it possible dock the dg3 with the shuttle-a in the space?
I need to rescue my shuttle-a pilot team (and the spacecraft) without fuel in the earth's orbit :sunk: .
My rescue team is takeoff from the earth with a dg3 to correct the orbit of the shuttle-a without fuel trying to help them to
dock with the ISS. :)

You will be able to dock with a Shuttle A, but I doubt you will be able to lead the Shuttle A to the ISS. The docking offsets
the CG of both ships, so firing the engines will cause some very wierd things to happen.

Why not send a maintenance team with the DGIII, and then you can get the ship fired up again? You could also send one DGIII
to rescue the crew and then another DGIII to fix the Shuttle A.

Cheers,

i tried to dock with the dg3, but the geometry of dg3 and shuttlea have graphical collision at the distance of about 20m in
the docking approach.

If you can't lead the shuttleA to ISS, you could instead lead the dgIII to iss. The shuttleA is a lot more powerful than the DgIII,
but also allow more freedom with its pods.

If the DGIII went through the Shuttle-A, you probably messed up the docking. Don't rely on instruments. Take a look
outside and position it.

I think the DGIII is a little sharp on the docking port to dock with the shuttle-a.
